R Parthiban, who was recently awarded the Special Jury Award at the 67th National Film Awards for Ottha Seruppu Size 7, will be collaborating with AR Rahman on his next directorial venture, Iravin Nizhal.
 
Parthiban confirmed AR Rahman’s association with the project and tweeted that they have finished composing three songs. The actor-director added that they are currently working on a promotional track and expressed happiness in joining hands with the Academy Award-winning musician.

Iravin Nizhal, directed by and starring Parthiban, is billed as Asia’s first single-shot film.

Meanwhile, AR Rahman is currently awaiting the release of 99 Songs, which marks the music composer’s foray into film production. In addition to producing the film, AR Rahman has also written the story of 99 Songs, which is scheduled to hit screens on April 16.
