Director Sekhar Kammula's upcoming film, Love Story, has been postponed due to a surge in Covid-19 cases across the Telugu States. The makers have announced that the romantic entertainer starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi is not releasing on April 16 owing to the pandemic situation in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

A new release date is yet to be finalised, but sources close to the makers inform us that they are considering May 7 at the moment.

Naga Chaitanya, who plays a middle-class young man in the film, has picked up the Telangana dialect for his part.

Also featuring Easwari Rao, Devayani and Rajeev Kanakala in supporting roles, Love Story has music by Pawan CH. The four singles of the film, released recently, have taken social media by storm and become the top-trending videos on YouTube.

Love Story is being produced by Amigos Creations and Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP. The film has cinematography by Vijay C Kumar and editing by Marthand K Venkatesh.
