We had previously reported that Mari Selvaraj, whose Karnan is releasing tomorrow, will next team up with Dhruv Vikram for a film. It's now known that this film will be a biopic. The filmmaker confirmed it during a conversation with Cinema Express while promoting the Dhanush-starrer.

Speaking about the Dhruv film, he said, "I am working on the script right now, amidst all the pressure surrounding the release of Karnan. It's considerably easier as it's a biopic. Dhruv is currently busy shooting for another film. Once he's done with it, my film with him will go on floors."

Backed by director Pa Ranjith's Neelam Productions, the untitled project is speculated to be a sports film with Dhruv essaying the role of a kabbadi player.

Dhruv is currently working on a Karthik Subbaraj film, co-starring his father, Vikram. The film, tentatively called Chiyaan 60, also stars Simran, Bobby Simha, and Sananth.
