Chris Pratt's The Tomorrow War to premiere on Amazon Prime

Chris Pratt's upcoming film The Tomorrow War is all set to make its debut on Amazon Prime on July 2. The film was supposed to be released in theatres for Christmas 2020, but was delayed due to the pandemic.

Amazon Prime has reportedly spent around $200 million for the rights of the film.

In The Tomorrow War, humans from 2051 time travel to the past to recruit people to fight a global war against an alien species in the future. Among the recruits is Don Forester (Chris Pratt), who joins hands with a scientist (Yvonne Strahovski), to save the planet. 

Other than Chris Pratt and Yvonne Strahovski, The Tomorrow War also stars Betty Gilpin, Keith Powers, and Sam Richardson in prominent roles. The film is directed by Chris McKay and written by Zach Dean.
