Yogi Babu’s 2019 mythological comedy Dharmaprabhu will be getting a sequel. Sources in the know confirm that the sequel will go on floors next year, and that it will be a proper continuation of the first film.

Dharmaprabhu 2 will also be directed by Muthukumaran, who helmed the first part. Yogi Babu will play the lead once again.

Scripting is in process right now and the film will go on floors after Yogi Babu completes his current commitments.

The 2019 film featured Yogi Babu as Yama, the god of death. The film also starred Sam Jones, Ramesh Thilak, Rekha, and Naan Kadavul Rajendran. It opened to mixed responses from the audience.

Yogi Babu, who was last seen in Cocktail, has a slew of films lined up, including Kadaisi Vivasayi and Dikkiloona. Muthukumar, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of his much-delayed film Kanni Raasi
