Mani Ratnam's anthology moves from Amazon Prime to Netflix?

The change in platform is said to be due to changes in contractual agreements and has apparently resulted in an amendment of the cast and crew too

We had previously reported that director Mani Ratnam will be spearheading a web series titled Navarasa, consisting of nine episodes helmed by nine filmmakers. Speculation is now rife that the series, which was initially scheduled to stream on Amazon Prime Video, has now changed hands and will be out on Netflix instead.

Our source adds that the change in platform is due to changes in contractual agreements and this has resulted in an amendment of the cast and crew too.

It's now said that the directors, apart from Mani Ratnam, would be Gautham Menon, Arvind Swami, Siddharth, Karthick Naren, KV Anand, Bejoy Nambiar, Rathindran Prasad, and Ponram. If confirmed, this series will mark the directorial debuts of actors Arvind Swami and Siddarth.

As far as the cast is concerned, Rathindran's episode will star Parvathy Thiruvothu and Siddarth, while Dulquer Salmaan has been roped in for Ponram's segment. Arvind Swami will star as the lead in his own directorial. It was earlier widely speculated that Suriya and Vijay Sethupathi would be part of this project, and it's now said that Jai and Sneha too have joined the series.

An official confirmation on the cast and crew is expected soon.
