We had reported a while ago that RK Suresh will be playing the lead in the Tamil remake of the Malayalam film Joseph, which will be bankrolled by director Bala. The team has announced now that the title and first look poster of the film will be revealed on September 23, by Sivakarthikeyan.

Early speculations stated that the Tamil version might also be named Joseph.

The original starred Joju George in the lead. Padmakumar, who helmed it, is also directing the Tamil remake. Co-starring Poorna and Madhushalini, the film has music by GV Prakash and cinematography by Vetri.

The film was last in the news for the massive physical transformation Suresh has undergone for his role. The actor had gained more than 20 kgs for one look and he is also reportedly reducing a lot of weight for the other.
