Post the massive blow caused due to Covid-19, the world of cinema is reviving gradually with the sparse reopening of theatres in different parts of the world and international film festivals commencing.

Following the cancellation of Cannes earlier this year, Venice International Film Festival ended on September 12 after a tremendous run. With the Toronto International Film Festival continuing into the second week of September in a format combining physical and digital screenings, the prestigious 58th New York Film Festival is all set to start on September 16.

The films will be screened in drive-in theatres at the New York City and will be available online in the region of USA. Proper hygiene and social distancing protocols will be followed in the drive-in venues of the festival.

Owing to the concerns over Covid-19, there will be no physical sale of tickets this year, all ticket purchases can be made online in the official website of the festival.
