Famous producer KT Kunjumon, who is known for bankrolling big-budget films like Kadhalan, Ratchagan, and Kadhal Desam, is returning to production with the sequel to one of his most successful films, Gentleman. The film, which marked the directorial debut of Shankar, had Arjun and Madhoo playing the leads. The commercial entertainer discussed the education system of India. 

Now, after almost three decades, Gentleman 2 has been announced under the banner, Gentleman Film International. It will be filmed in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

The makers are reportedly planning to rope in some famous actors from Bollywood and South Indian industries for the film. An official announcement regarding the film's cast and crew will be made soon.

It is still unknown if Shankar will direct the sequel.
