We had previously told you that Ashok Selvan and Niharika Konnidela are teaming up for a film, directed by debutante Swathini. It is now known that Megha Akash has replaced Niharika as the female lead of this film. 

The yet-to-be-titled film, produced by J Selvakumar for Kenanya Films, was supposed to go on floors earlier. But the lockdown due to coronavirus outbreak halted the production. Niharaka had, reportedly, allocated a huge chunk of her dates for this film, which got wasted due to the industry shutdown. The actor had also planned to get the shooting of the film done before her wedding. Given all of this, she has opted to walk out of the Ashok Selvan-starrer after having a word with the producers. 

Since the Telengana government has granted permission to shoot with restrictions now, the team is planning to launch the shoot by October. The makers are planning to reveal the title of the film shortly.
