The release date and first look poster of Disha Encounter have been unveiled by its director Ram Gopal Varma. While the film is set for release on November 26, and the teaser will be unveiled on September 26.

Based on the rape and murder of a woman veterinarian in Hyderabad in November last year, the film will be shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, and will also be dubbed into other regional languages. RGV shared the first look poster along with the release date of the film on Twitter.

Earlier in February, the director met several police officers at RGI airport police station as part of the film's research.

Produced by Anurag Kancharla, Disha Encounter reportedly features a newcomer in the titular role.
