Director Krishna Bhatt will next start shooting for Maaya 4 from mid-October. The erotic-thriller series is backed by Vikram Bhatt's Loneranger Productions. Earlier, Krishna was awarded as best director for Maaya by Talent Track.

Speaking about Maaya 4, the filmmaker shares, "We have been receiving tons of love for the content we create and one of the best and most loved is Maaya. So, we decided to make season 4. Each of these series has its own love-scorn relationship which makes it more intense."

Adding to it, she notes, "Indian motion picture industry is evolving. Audiences have become more aware about the content they watch. They want the story to be relevant and that's where Maaya stands out. I, as a filmmaker, want to make more such content for very possible platform and tell such amazing stories." 

The cast for Maaya 4 is yet to be announced.

The director-producer is currently showrunning Twisted 3.
