The title of Caarthick Raju's upcoming directorial, starring Raiza Wilson in the lead, has been revealed as The Chase. The Tamil-Telugu film, which marks the debut of Anasuya Bharadwaj in Tamil, was shot in 18 days during the Covid lockdown, in a village called Sirumalai in Dindugal.

Said to be a film that revolves around a mother, daughter and a teenager, the film has Bala Saravanan and Kaali Venkat playing important roles in Tamil. These characters are reprised by Sathyam Rajesh and Madhu Nandan in Telugu. Harish Uthaman plays the male lead in both versions of The Chase.
