Silambarasan has teamed up with director Susienthiran for a film that has started rolling in Dindigul. It's now known that this film is titled Eeswaran.

The film's motion poster, featuring the actor, was released earlier today. In it, a visibly-fitter Simbu appears clad in a lungi, carrying a cobra akin to Shiva (who is also known as Eeswaran).

Produced by D Company and presented by Madhav Media, Eeswaran will have music by Thaman while Thirunavukkarasu and Anthony will handle cinematography and editing, respectively.

Nidhi Agarwal, who is set to make her debut in Tamil with the Jayam Ravi-starrer Bhoomi, has been signed to play the female lead, while veteran director Bharathiraja and Nandita Swetha will be seen in pivotal roles.

Eeswaran is scheduled for release next Pongal.
