Actor Anu Emmanuel is the latest addition to the ensemble cast for director Ajay Bhupathi's Telugu-Tamil bilingual Maha Samudram. She joins Sharwanand, Siddharth, and Aditi Rao Hydari, who are playing the other leads of the film.

"Anu will play the second female lead of the film. Ajay Bhupathi has written the script in such a way that every character will have its own importance," says a source from the production team.

Set against the backdrop of Visakhapatnam, the film's principal photography will commence in November in Hyderabad. "The film will be shot across several beach cities, including Visakhapatnam. While Sharwa will join the sets in December, the remaining cast will participate in the first schedule," the source adds.

RX 100-fame Chaitan Bharadwaj is on board to score music for this intense love story that is slated for release next summer.
