Nawazuddin Siddiqui has received fresh praise for his Serious Men director Sudhir Mishra.

Speaking about working with the actor, Sudhir said, “Nawaz is a brilliant actor! He is very fluent and transparent as an actor and never obstructs the storytelling at all. His ability to beautifully slip into the character is amazing.”

The filmmaker continued, “He always understands the value of a scene, and sometimes he willingly gives away the scene to his co-actor. I had a beautiful experience working with an actor like Nawazuddin Siddiqui.”

Streaming on Netflix, Serious Men is an adaptation of Manu Joseph’s 2010 novel. The film follows an immigrant Dalit man who schemes to climb up in life by framing his school-going boy as a genius.

Besides Nawazuddin, the film also stars Indira Tiwari, Indira Tiwari, Aakshath Das, and Nassar.
