Vimal and Sarkunam, who have previously worked together in films like Kalavani, Vaagai Sooda Vaa, and Kalavani 2, have joined hands for the fourth time for a new film titled Enga Paatan Soththu. The film has Anicka Vikraman playing the female lead. 

The first look poster of the film, produced by Makkal Arasan pictures, will be released tomorrow. It may be noted that Enga Paatan Soththu was teased with the tagline: 'Kollywood-in EPS yaaru?' ('Who is the EPS of Kollywood?') 

Vimal, who is awaiting the release of Kanni Raasi on November 27, also has films like has Sandakaari with Shriya Saran, Manjal Kudai, Kanni Raasi, Lucky, Kulasami,  and Thudikarangal, in the pipeline.
