The Kissing Booth 2 actor Joey King is set to headline Hulu's upcoming film, The Princess, which has been acquired by 20th Century Studios.

While the plot details of the project have been kept under wraps, the speculative screenplay from Ben Lustig and Jake Thornton is being billed as a Rapunzel meets The Raid story. 

The Princess will be produced by Original Film's Neal H Moritz and Toby Jaffe alongside Derek Kolstad. 

King will executive produce the movie along with Lustig and Thornton.
