Vidya Balan has shared the first look of her upcoming short film Natkhat. Directed by Shaan Vyas, the film is co-produced by Vidya and Ronnie Screwvala. The poster features Vidya in a sari with a young boy. She’s massaging his head, with a conflicted look on her face.

“Ek kahaani sunoge...?" Presenting the first look of my first short film both as actor and producer .#Natkhat," Vidya tweeted. The caption recalls her 2012 thriller directed by Sujoy Ghosh.

Meanwhile, Vidya’s upcoming feature film Shakuntala Devi will premiere directly on Amazon Prime. The biopic is helmed by Anu Menon and also stars Sanya Malhotra, Amit Sadh and Jisshu Sengupta. The screenplay is penned by Menon along with Nayanika Mahtani, while the dialogues are penned by Ishita Moitra.

Back in March, Vidya had started shooting for Newton director Amit Masurkar’s Sherni. Set in the jungles of Madhya Pradesh, the film stars Vidya as a forest officer.
