The makers of Guzar Jayega, a recent music video featuring 115 artistes, have applied for the Guinness World Records. Released this month, the motivational anthem was narrated by Amitabh Bachchan and saw the collaboration of 50 singers and 65 celebrities. With Big B included, this is the first time a single-language song has featured so many singers, creator-producer Varun Gupta told a publication. He added that the record was previously held by Michael Jackson and 40 singers for We are the World. The makers have also applied for the Limca Book of Records.

Guzar Jayega featured spots by Raveena Tandon, Manoj Bajpayee, Sunny Leone, Kapil Sharma, Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Shreya Ghoshal and others. They were accompanied by sports figures like Sania Mirza, Vijendra Singh, Sushil Kumar and Mahesh Bhupati.

The song, which aims to inspire hope during the lockdown, is composed by Jazim Sharma with lyrics from Siddhant Kaushal.

Speaking about the collaboration, Raveena had previously shared, "Guzar Jayega is a collective effort of so many artists, and personalities to stand together in the test of time. Especially when we got Amit ji with us, we feel more empowered towards the victory."
