Arya rubbishes rumours about being part of Ayyapanum Koshiyum remake

The original film starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon in the lead roles

We had earlier reported that the Malayalam hit film Ayyapanum Koshiyum will be getting a Tamil remake and that the rights were bagged by producer Kathiresan. While it was previously speculated that Sarathkumar and Sasikumar would play the lead roles in the remake, recent reports had suggested that actor Arya has been roped in to play the role earlier assigned to Sarathkumar. However, Arya has now clarified that he is not part of the project.

The original film featured Prithviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon in the lead. It is still unclear who will direct the Tamil remake as well. 

Arya was recently seen in Shanta kumar’s Magamuni. The actor has Shakti Soundar Rajan’s Teddy and a sports film with Pa Ranjith in the pipeline.
