It was announced a week ago that Arjun and Jiiva will be joining hands for a new film titled Medhavi and it will be directed by lyricist, actor and filmmaker Pa Vijay. Now the recent speculations state that the Jiiva will be playing an assistant director in the film, while Arjun and the film's female lead Raashi Khanna will be seen donning the roles of an investigative cop and news reporter, respectively. 

Medhavi will also star Radha Ravi, YG Mahendran, Kaithi-fame Dheena, Azhagam Perumal, Rohini, and Priyanka Shankar, in important roles. The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Deepak Kumar Padhy.

Medhavi is touted to be a horror-thriller, and the film is expected to go on floors after the coronavirus lockdown is lifted.
