Actor Shantanu has donned the director's hat for a short film titled Konjam Corona Neraya Kaadhal. The Mupparimanam actor unveiled the teaser for his short film on Twitter yesterday. The film, which has been completely shot on an iPhone, will also feature Shantanu’s wife and popular anchor, Kiki Vijay.  

Konjam Corona Neraya Kaadhal has been written, directed, and also edited by Shantanu. The film has music by Ganesan Sekar. 

Shantanu was last seen in the Mani Rathnam production Vaanam Kottatum, where he shared screen space with Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Madonna Sebastian. The actor is currently awaiting the release of Lokesh Kanagaraj-Vijay’s Master, and also has Vikram Sugumaran’s Raavana Kottam in the pipeline. Shantanu is also part of Sudha Kongara’s short for Netflix’s first Tamil anthology.
