Following the government’s permission to resume post-production work for films and television shows, the cast of Kabadadaari have resumed dubbing for the film. The film's producer, Dhananjayan, announced the same on Twitter.

“Happy to get back to post-production of Sibi Sathyaraj's Kabadadaari with dubbing by Jayaprakash sir, following proper regulations. Will progress towards finishing soon. Thank you Government of TN for the approval,” he wrote.

Earlier the Tamil Nadu government announced post-production work of films and TV shows could resume from May 11, while also giving guidelines to be adhered to, such as practising social distancing and wearing protective equipment, with instructions to obtain travel passes if necessary. Work such as editing, dubbing, DI, rerecording, sound designing/mixing (with a maximum of five people), and VFX/CGI (with 10 to 15 people) are now allowed.

Directed by Sathya-fame Pradeep Krishnamoorthy, Kabadadaari is the official Tamil remake of the Kannada hit, Kavaludaari.
