The makers of Rang De have released the first look motion poster of the film to celebrate the birthday of Nithiin. The 25-second poster introduces the characters played by Nithiin and Keerthy Suresh.

Directed by Venky Atluri, Rang De was supposed to be released in May, but the makers have postponed it to July 30 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to Rang De, Nithiin will also be seen in the Telugu remake of Bollywood thriller Andhadhun, Chandrasekhar Yeleti's Check, and director Krishna Chaitanya's trilogy Power Peta. 

On the personal front, Nithiin got engaged to his long-time girlfriend Shalini Kandukuri in a private ceremony in Hyderabad. Their wedding was scheduled to take place in Dubai on April 16. However, the actor postponed the wedding due to the lockdown.
