The cast of Contagion including Kate Winslet, Matt Damon, Laurence Fishburne and Jennifer Ehle have collaborated with a team of scientists and released a series of videos on Covid-19 in an attempt to share evidence-based information with the public.

The public service announcement videos discuss several topics such as social distancing, how to wash hands and ways to filter authentic information while preventing the spread of the pandemic. In the video, Damon says, "In the movie, I played a guy who was immune to the hypothetical virus that was spreading around the world. So, a few things to start. One, that was a movie, this is real life. I have no reason to believe I'm immune to COVID-19. And neither do you, no matter how young you are"

The videos were written with the help of scientists from Columbia's Mailman School of Public Health and Participant and medical experts who advised Steven Soderbergh on Contagion.
