We had earlier reported that Atharvaa will be donning the khaki once again for an upcoming film. Helmed by debutant director Ravindra Madhava, it was announced that Laavanya Tripathi would play the female lead in this cop thriller. The latest on this is that Nandha has been roped in to play the villain in the film.

In a statement, Ravindra said, “The role demanded someone who can bring more life to it. Nandha is someone who doesn't just bank on muscle power, but also his intellect. Having already proved his proficiency, he is very apt for this role.”

The director also added that the crew will resume shooting once the coronavirus pandemic has subsided.

The film will have cinematography by Mankatha-fame Shakthi Saravanan, with Kalai in charge of edits, and Saravanan taking care of stunts.

Nandha was last seen in Dhana’s Vanam Kottatum, which was produced by Mani Ratnam.
