We had reported earlier that Santhanam will be teaming up again with K Johnson, who directed the hit comedy A1. The latest is that the crew has begun shooting today. The untitled film will have Anaika Soti of Kaaviyathalaivan fame playing the female lead. 

The film, with cinematography by Arthur A Wilson, will be completed in a single schedule of 45-50 days with major portions planned to be shot in North Madras and other parts of Chennai, Madurai, and Malaysia. Music will be by Santhosh Narayanan, who also composed for A1.

In an earlier interaction, Johnson revealed that the new film will be a gangster comedy. 

Santhanam, who was last seen in Dagaalty, also has Dikkiloona and Kannan’s Biskoth in different stages of production.
