Lord Curzon Ki Haveli shoot delayed due to coronavirus outbreak

Anshuman Jha’s directorial debut, Lord Curzon Ki Haveli, was to start filming in the UK in mid-March. The film stars Arjun Mathur, Rasika Dugal and Parambrata Chatterjee in the lead roles. However, owing to the coronavirus outbreak and the travel advisories issued, the actor-filmmaker has pushed the shoot to the next available combination date window for safety reasons.

“We were to fly out on March 16 and begin shoot on March 21 at Kent but given the current scenario, we don't wish to put anyone at risk. Therefore, we are postponing the shoot. It's a hard decision but the most sensible one at this time. And I wish everyone stays safe and healthy,” Anshuman said.

The coronavirus pandemic has affected several forthcoming Bollywood releases. Films like Sooryavanshi and Sir, both previously set for release in March, have been postponed.

Meanwhile, annual gala events like IIFA and Zee Cinema awards have been withdrawn. Additionally, cinema theatres in Delhi, Kerala, and Jammu and Kashmir have been ordered to remain shut till March 31.
