CE Features

Recently, speculations stated that Dhanush's second directorial, tentatively titled Naan Rudhran, would resume shooting right after the lockdown. Following that, new rumours state that the actor has requested his brother and director Selvaraghavan to co-direct the period portions of the film, which are said to be set in the 15th century.

The reports add that Dhanush believes Selvarghavan would add more value to the period portions as he has made films like Aiyirathil Oruvan and Irandam Ulagam.

The upcoming film, starring Nagarjuna, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Srikanth, is bankrolled by Thenandal Productions. A significant portion of the film has been shot already.

It may be noted that a while ago, Selvaraghavan announced that he would be directing Dhanush in Pudhupettai 2, and that would be his next film.
