Tomichan Mulakupadam, who produced Mohanlal's Pulimurugan and Dileep's Ramaleela, has announced that he will be producing Suresh Gopi's yet-to-be-titled 250th film. Suresh Gopi will be playing a character named Kaduvaakkunnel Kuruvachan in the film helmed by debutant Mathews Thomas.

While announcing the news on his social media pages, Tomichan said, "I am very much delighted to work with the action superstar Suresh Gopi for his 250th film." He wrote on his Facebook page, "Directed by Mathews Thomas Plammoottil, the movie will be a big treat for both the families and the mass audience and will be the next under the banner Mulakuppadam Films. The movie will have an astounding cast and crew."

Sources close to the team had already informed us that the film will be an action thriller along the lines of Suresh Gopi's early blockbuster Lelam. The actor was recently seen in a new stylish look specifically for this film.

The film will have a screenplay by Shibin Francis. Shaji Kumar (Pulimurugan, Madhuraraja) will be handling the camera.

The makers are eyeing a Bollywood actor for the female lead. More details will be revealed officially once everything is finalised.
