It is known that Dhanush was collaborating with Nagarjuna and Aditi Rao Hydari for his second directorial. However, the project was stalled for a while as Dhanush became busy with his acting commitments. Now, reports suggest that Dhanush will get back to shooting the film once the lockdown ends.

Bankrolled by Thenandal Films, the crew had already completed two schedules of shooting for the film, tentatively referred to as Naan Rudran, before production was halted. Apart from Nagarjuna and Aditi, Srikanth and SJ Suryah will also play key roles in this project, which is touted to be a period drama.

Dhanush is currently awaiting the release of Karthik Subbaraj’s Jagame Thanthiram. The actor was also shooting for Karnan, his film with Mari Selvaraj, before the lockdown commenced. Apart from these, he has Anand L Rai’s Atrangi Re, as well as films with Karthick Naren, Selvaraghavan, and Ram Kumar in the pipeline
