Yoodlee Films, from the Saregama stable, will be the one of the first production studios to start shooting amid the coronavirus pandemic for two feature films Comedy Couple and Zombivali

The production is set to be carried out following strict precautionary measures to keep the crew safe. Comedy couple, directed by Nachiket Samant and starring Saqib Salim and  Shweta Basu Prasad is set in Mumbai. It is touted as India’s first com-rom original film. Meanwhile, Zombivali, a Marathi horror comedy, will begin shooting in Lathur next week. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the film stars Amey Wagh, Lalit Prabhakar and Vaidehi Parshurami.

A COVID officer has also been assigned to ensure that the safety measures are followed on the sets. “We have employed specialised personnel on the sets who are responsible that all health and safety measures are followed to the T, by everyone. Though we have masks, face shields, and sanitisation tunnels in place, these COVID officers will reinforce our safety efforts," said Siddharth Anand Kumar, Vice-President, Films and Events, Saregama.

Yoodlee Films recently released two direct-to-OTT films Axone and Chaman Bahaar. “It's a great feeling to get back on sets! Shooting in this time is a different experience all together, - a curiously strange one given the situation we find ourselves in.  But Yoodlee Films are taking all precautions, and safety for all to the highest standard is being ensured," said Nachiket Samant, director of Comedy Couple.
