With speculation rife that Paranna Jeevi, a film allegedly inspired by the life of controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma (RGV), will feature Sri Reddy in a crucial role, the actor took to Twitter to clarify that she is not part of the film.

The actor posted that she was offered the film, but she politely turned down because her 'ethics won't let her tarnish the reputation of the people she respects in her life'. She also added a congratulatory message for RGV on the success of the title song of his upcoming film Power Star.

"Got lot of pressure to act in a film, but I said NO to that controversial telugu film paranna jeevi, bcz I Love RGV, I have my ethics, i never damage my own people's respect if they like me or not, its not a matter, congratulations to @RGVzoomin for PowerStar song, I like it a lot (sic)," tweeted Sri Reddy.

Directed by Bigg Boss 2 contestant, Dr Nutan Naidu, Paranna Jeevi is produced by CS under 99 Theatre Banner.
