We had earlier reported that Gautham Vasudev Menon is directing actor Varun in the upcoming film, Joshua: Imai Pol Kaakha. Now, it has been revealed that Krishna, who was last seen in Kazhugu 2 last year, is playing the antagonist in the film.

Gautham, who unveiled the film’s first single Naan Un Joshua recently, also made this announcement on Twitter. “It’s also the time to introduce Krishna as the villain in the film Joshua.. Thank you Krishna for agreeing to do this for me! In return, you are looking really good brother," he tweeted.

In response, Krishna tweeted, “Thank you sir. It’s an honour. Can’t wait to resume shoot.”

The film has music by composer-singer Karthik, who also collaborated with Gautham for Ondraga Originals, a series of independent song videos. Notably, Karthik was one of the accused in India's MeToo Movement.
