Actor Alia Bhatt is in talks to star in Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty’s debut production. As per reports, the film will include the recent clash between India and China at the border. It is based on the life of Indian soldier Baba Harbhajhan Singh.

While the main plot is a love saga set against the Indo-China war in 1967 at Nathula, it will also highlight the current scenario between the countries during COVID-19. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to Ladakh will also be included in the script, reports state. 

Alia Bhatt’s upcoming release is Sadak 2. The film will premiere directly on Disney+ Hoststar. She is also a part of SS Rajamouli’s RRR. The period epic stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles. Additionally, Alia will also be seen in Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor.
