Rajinikanth’s latest release Darbar, which was released across the country in multiple languages for Pongal, seems to have not performed as expected at the box office. The film has reportedly caused a heavy loss for many distributors in Sengalpattu and many other districts.

The distributors gathered in Rajinikanth's Raghavendra Marriage Hall but they were unable to meet the Superstar. Now, they are calculating the district-wise loss incurred by the producer and will try to meet Rajinikanth again.

Earlier, Lyca Productions officially claimed that Darbar has earned Rs 150 crore in four days. However, when the distributors approached the production house for compensation, Lyca has claimed that they are not liable for their loss, according to the contract.

Rajinikanth recently teamed up with British reality TV star, Bear Grylls. He shot for a special episode of Into The Wild with Bear Grylls. The popular television presenter earlier did a similar episode with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
