After Narendra Modi, Rajinikanth is the next Indian celebrity to be part of Bear Grylls’ popular show Man vs Wild. According to reports, the actor shot for the episode in Bandipur Tiger Reserve today. There are no details as to when the episode will be aired.

The earlier episode with Narendra Modi was shot in Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand last year.

Usage of minimal equipment, including cameras, has been allowed and there will be no generators or heavy vehicles, say reports. It is also said that most of the episode will be shot along the highway and a bridge, with just one sequence where they cross a water body in a coracle.

While wildlife activists have questioned the timing — fire lines are burnt during this time — the reserve officials have assured that the forest authorities have not been disturbed.
