Karnataka forest department officials have informed that Rajinikanth, who had been to the Bandipur Tiger Reserve for the shoot of a special episode of Man vs Wild with Bear Grylls, has sustained a fall and bruised himself during the filming of the episode.

They also mentioned that the veteran actor was walking at the time of the accident when he slipped and fell down. Apart from minor bruises, there were no other major injuries.

Despite the minor setback, the shooting of the episode has apparently been completed. The shoot for the next special episode is scheduled to happen with Akshay Kumar on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the forest department has sought an explanation from the team of Man Vs Wild for using drones without their permission. Apparently, permission was granted only for land-shoot for six hours for each episode.
