HBO puts out casting calls for House Of Dragons

Looks like the pre-production work of House Of Dragon, the prequel series to Game Of Thrones is going on in full throttle. HBO has reportedly sent out casting calls for the upcoming series.

Based on the book of George RR Martin, Fire & Blood, the film series will tell the history of House Targareyan through the lead characters — Aegon, Visenya, and Rhaenys. The series will possibly narrate the story of Doom of Valyria, the birthplace of the house, and the conquest of Westors by Aegon.

The series is currently in the nascent stage and HBO has not yet announced the tentative release date for the show. It is safe to say that the series will be in the making for months to come.

Screenwriter Ryan Condal and director Miguel Sapochnik are adapting RR Martin’s book into the ambitious series. The show will be much bigger than GOT in terms of the production design and CGI works as Valyria will be teeming with dragons. At last, we will also be seeing Balerion: The Black Dread in action!

Game Of Thrones, which came to a close last year, left the fans with major disappointment as it failed to meet the expectations it had set over the years. However, with the upcoming show, all is not lost for the fans.
