Parvathy to make directorial debut soon

Parvathy will start the film after wrapping up her acting commitments

Malayalam actor Parvathy is all set to make her directorial debut soon. In a recent interview, the Uyare actor said she will begin the film's pre-production work by the end of this year after she completes a couple of acting assignments and some travelling.

The shoot of the project, which is co-written by her, is expected to begin next year. She added that she has two subjects ready, one with a political background and the other a psychological thriller.

Last seen in Virus, Parvathy's next full-length feature is Siddharth Siva's Varthamaanam, for which she has completed dubbing. Also coming up next for her is Rachiyamma, a short film directed by Venu. The latter, which also stars Asif Ali, is part of a four-film anthology.

She also has a cameo role in Sudani From Nigeria-director Zakariya's new film Halal Love Story.
