After Vikadakumaran, writer-director Boban Samuel is back with Al Mallu, which will be hitting theatres on January 10. Starring Namitha Pramod in the lead, Al Mallu is said to be a women-centric film that deals with the challenges faced by a young woman working abroad.

The film has been shot entirely in the United Arab Emirates, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi being the main locations. Newcomer Harris is playing the male lead, while the supporting cast features Siddique, Lal, Miya, Prem Prakash, Mithun Ramesh, and Dharmajan among others.

Cinematographer Vivek Menon has shot the film, which has been edited by Deepu Joseph. Ranjin Raj, who made his debut with Joseph, has worked on the music. Sajils Majeed has produced the film under the banner of Mehfil Productions.
