Actor Sonu Sood has joined the cast of superstar Chiranjeevi’s next. The Telugu-language film is helmed by Koratala Siva and is tentatively titled Chiru 152. Having worked in several blockbusters down South, Sonu will be seen as one of the prime characters in the much-awaited film.

Confirming the same, Sonu said, “It makes me very proud to be associated with the project and sharing the screen space with Chiranjeevi Sir. The South Indian film industry has been very embracing of me and I hope with this film I am able to give them back the same amount of love through my work.”

Meanwhile, Sonu’s upcoming Bollywood outing is Prithviraj with Akshay Kumar. The film is a historical drama tracing the life of King Prithviraj Chauhan. Sonu will also be in two upcoming south films, including the Tamil action-drama Thamilarasan directed by Babu Yogeswaran.
