Even as Naga Chaitanya is busy with the last leg of shooting for his upcoming romantic drama, Love Story, we hear that the actor has given his verbal consent to be a part of a new film to be directed by Oh! Baby-fame Nandini Reddy.

"It's going to be a contemporary love story with a dash of action. Nandini narrated the plotline to Chaitanya on Wednesday and received a go-ahead. She will develop this story into a bound script and meet the actor one last time before making an official announcement," says a source.

To be produced by Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt, the untitled film will have music by Mickey J Meyer.

Nandini's last release Oh! Baby, starring Samantha Akkineni, was a blockbuster, while Chaitanya's recent film Venky Mama was an average grosser at the box office.

Chaitanya was supposed to collaborate with director Parasuram on a romantic action entertainer, but things have taken a turn after the latter agreed to direct Mahesh Babu's next.
