Actor Nani's 27th film has been titled Shyam Singha Roy. The film is being directed by Rahul Sankrityan, who made his directorial debut with the Vijay Deverakonda-starrer Taxiwala. Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, the film is reported to be a sci-fi thriller, and will go on floors in May.

Shyam Singha Roy will have three female leads and the makers have already roped in Sai Pallavi as one of the leads. Shyam Singha Roy will mark the duo's second film together after Sriram Venu's family entertainer, MCA (2017). The rest of the star cast has not been finalised yet.

Shyam Singha Roy, which is slated for a December 25 release, will see Nani undergo a makeover.

Meanwhile, Nani is currently shooting for his upcoming film, V, which is being directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti. He is also reuniting with his Ninnu Kori director Shiva Nirvana for Tuck Jagadish.
