Vijay Kumar Rajendran, who shot to fame after his stint on the YouTube channel Eruma Saani, will be making his directorial debut in a film starring Arulnithi in the lead. The untitled film will be produced by cinematographer-turned-producer Aravinnd Singh, who shot four of Arulnithi’s films — Aarathu Sinam, Demonte Colony, Iravukku Aayiram Kangal and K 13

“The film is loosely based on real-life incidents and is set against a college backdrop. In the initial narration, I found Vijay's script to be gripping,” said Aravinnd in a statement. He further added that he is glad that Vijay is making his directorial debut through his production banner.

Arulnithi, who was last seen in Barath Neelakantan’s K-13, is awaiting the release of Kalathil Sandippom where he shares screen space with Jiiva, Majima Mohan and Priya Bhavani Shankar. Vijay was recently seen in Hip Hop Aadhi’s Naan Sirithal, where he played a key role.
