T-Series will release actor Vijay Deverakonda's upcoming film, Hero, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam. The sports musical drama, which was put on hold due to budget issues, has been taken over by the Bollywood production house from Mythri Movie Makers.

The project was stuck in limbo after Mythri Movie Makers was not pleased with the output and the budget of the film shot up. The principal photography of the film commenced last year in Delhi and the makers have spent a whopping Rs 15 crore on its making so far.

"T-Series is excited to join hands with Mythri Movie Makers and Vijay Deverakonda for Hero. They believe that the story has universal appeal and it would be the best way to release it across languages," informs a source.

Co-starring Shalini Pandey and Malavika Mohanan, Hero is being directed by Anand Annamalai and features Vijay as a professional biker.

The new schedule of Hero will begin soon after Vijay wraps up Liger.
