Actor Srikanth is playing late actor and former Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao (NTR) in Chadarangam, a political web series bankrolled by Vishnu Manchu and directed by Raj Anantha. 

The series, which marks the digital debut of Srikanth, is based on real incidents that influenced the political scene of undivided Andhra Pradesh. 

"Chadarangam is all about how a popular actor transforms into a politician to serve the people of his state. The nine-episode series also gives lesser-known facts about an incident in the life of NTR," read a statement from the makers. 

Also featuring Nagineedu, Chalapathi Rao, Sunaina, Kousalya, and Ramya Pasupuleti in prominent roles, Chadrangam will premiere on Zee5 Premium on February 20.
