The shooting for Trisha’s upcoming film, Raangi, directed by Engeyum Eppothum-fame Saravanan has been wrapped. Trisha made the announcement on Instagram. “It’s a wrap. See you in the theatres,” she wrote. Major portions of the film, touted to be an action-thriller, were shot in Uzbekistan.

Produced by Lyca Productions, the script for Raangi has been penned by AR Murugadoss. The film has music by C Sathya, a frequent collaborator of Saravanan who has composed for his earlier films Engeyum Eppothum and Ivan Vera Mathiri.

Trisha was last seen in an extended cameo in Rajinikanth-Karthik Subbaraj’s Petta. The actor is currently part of Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan, Jeethu Joseph and Mohanlal’s Ram, and Chiru 152 directed by Koratala Siva.
