James Bobin in talks to direct Ryan Reynolds in the movie version of Clue

Jason Bateman, who was set to direct and star in Clue, has dropped out of the project due to scheduling conflicts with his Netflix series, Ozark

The Muppets director James Bobin is in talks to direct Clue, which will star Ryan Reynolds in the lead. Reynolds will also produce the big-screen adaptation of the classic board game.

Rheet Reese and Paul Wernick, who wrote Deadpool, Deadpool 2, and 6 Underground, are penning the script for Clue
